We invite you to join the Jackson Young Lawyers Association. Because we value you and your organization’s resources we want to make sure you know the value of a JYL membership.
JYL is the flagship local bar association for young lawyers. We’ve been networking and socializing together since 1935! Membership in JYL includes admission to our luncheons featuring continuing legal education (CLE) credits. We promise dynamic speakers and an engaging opportunity to connect with fellow young lawyers. The cost of member lunches and CLE reporting is included in your membership dues.
As always, we have networking and social events planned for the year! JYL hosts joint socials with the Capital Area Bar Association and an Evening Honoring the Judiciary. JYL also hosts socials for various initiatives important to our membership. We are proud to uphold our commitment to the community by offering opportunities to give back to the Bar and the City of Jackson through pro bono and service projects. We welcome Spring with the Legal Beagle 5K race which has raised over $20,000 for the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project.

All duly-licensed members of the Mississippi Bar who are residents of the Jackson, Mississippi metropolitan area and who are 37 years of age and younger or who have been members of the Mississippi Bar for less than three years are eligible for membership in this Association.
